Sounds of the mind

We popped along to Selfridges, and were stopped by these striking installation windows.
Various musicians were commisioned by Selfridges, to create an installation, in each of the windows to illustrate one of their tunes
and to celebrate the Summer Festival season. Musicians included, Dizzie Rascal, Florence and the Machine, Empire of the Sun, XX etc.

Pick Me Up!

We popped along to the 'Pick Me Up' London's first contemporary graphic arts fair at Somerset House.
We've been looking forward to seeing this, and was totally inspired. A great selection of working illustrators and
graphic artists were showcasing their work, and also made available for the public to buy too. Our WorkShop's faves were
James Joyce, Melvin Galapon, Paula Castro and Rob Ryan.
PrintClub and PeepShow had set up their print tables, and were printing all day. And the legendary Rob Ryan had
transferred a small part of his studio into the exhibition space, to give us a glimpse of his whimsical, beautiful world.
A definate must-see!

Guitar heroes

Celeste Boursier-Mougenot's installation is showing at the Barbican Centre. Birds playing musical instruments!
Little birdies rockin! We're gonna try and pop by and have a peek, check it out.

On a recent trip to Tokyo, I bought this little birdie....it's a laser-cut bookmark.

and website. He photographs everything in a very composed and graphic way. You may find these images familiar,
as he has shot for a couple of Uniqlo campaigns.

Happy Days!

For the past few months, we've been working on this timeline. It has finally been printed up as a wallpaper
and installed into our client's showroom. We're very pleased that it all went up smoothly.
This graphic piece illustrates our clients history and story, and how they got established.
Whilst running alongside it, we illustrated the brief history of technology its self. As both timelines evolve,
they naturally entwine into one another. It was really interesting researching this project and fun creating it!

Going green

Went shopping a couple of Sundays ago, and popped into the Orla Kiely boutique in Covent Garden.
